At Olives and Oil, we are committed to supporting our neighboring schools, youth sports teams & all non-profit organizations. Our Dine to Donate Fundraising Program allows the local community to not only enjoy a delicious meal, but also help local organizations raise money for great causes.

How it Works
Contact us so we can learn more about your group and we’ll work with you to schedule an available weekday that’s designated just for your non-profit organization.
Promote the event and date to your group, family, friends, ANYONE actually, we’ll help with templates and we’ll promote on our social media accounts as well.
On the day of the event, 10% of ALL food and beverage sales that we take in during that day will be donated to your group. This includes take-out orders, so if some people want to support but don’t feel comfortable dining out just yet, no problem...they can place a take-out order on our website or by calling the restaurant and still have those sales count. (What’s NOT included towards the 10% donation is Connecticut sales tax, Tip/Gratuity, pre-scheduled private parties/events, gift card purchases, and any sales through a third party app like Uber Eats or Grubhub.)
Within 1 week after your event date we’ll have a check cut to your group for the 10% donation.

Here’s some common questions we get about the program
Is my group eligible?
Any local non-profit organization is eligible to host a fundraiser with Olives and Oil! (Schools, sports teams, churches, national associations, scout troops, charitable causes, hospitals, local fundraisers, etc.) We will require a completed W9 for verification & tax purposes.
What percentage of sales from the fundraising event does my organization receive?
10% of net sales from Dine In, and Take Out orders are included
What’s NOT INCLUDED in the Sales total?
Connecticut sales tax, Tip/Gratuity, pre-scheduled private parties/events, gift card purchases, and any sales through a third party app like Uber Eats or Grubhub are NOT INCLUDED as sales to calculate the donation amount from.
Are there specific dates or times that I can host my fundraiser on?
Fundraisers can be scheduled most weekday at our Seymour location, please reach out to us and we’ll find a week that works for our calendar as well as for your group. We do only host ONE group per week, so reach out now to secure an available date.
How often can my organization host an event?
Dine to Donate fundraisers can be held at Olives and Oil once a year per organization
Can I use a tax exemption form?
No, your group must provide a W-9 form for approval.
When can I expect my Fundraiser check?
1 week after the event we’ll have the donation check ready.
